Mainspring Agents helps businesses set up and manage AI employees that communicate with leads, customers, and internal teams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle phone, text, email, and integration data.
Information We Collect
- Contact details such as name, business name, email address, phone number, website, and service area.
- Onboarding details such as employee name, voice preference, selected tools, workflow goals, guardrails, and uploaded business documents.
- Communication records such as call notes, messages, replies, timestamps, delivery status, and customer requests.
- Connection metadata needed to operate approved tools, such as integration status, workspace status, webhook status, and health checks.
How We Use Information
- To set up, train, operate, monitor, and improve your Mainspring AI employee.
- To contact you about onboarding, support, billing, approvals, and service updates.
- To route calls, text messages, emails, forms, and tool updates to the correct employee and customer workspace.
- To detect failures, prevent abuse, maintain security, and keep an audit trail of important actions.
Text Messaging Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We also do not share text message originator opt-in data, consent records, or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process messages only as needed to deliver Mainspring services.
Message frequency varies based on your request, onboarding status, support needs, and the workflows your AI employee is approved to handle. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting, payments, messaging, email, voice, analytics, support, and approved customer integrations. These providers may process information only as needed to provide, secure, and support Mainspring services.
Customer Integrations
When you authorize Mainspring to connect a tool, we use that access only to set up and operate the workflows you approved. You can ask us to disconnect tools or revoke access at any time.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain operational records. You may request deletion of information by contacting us, subject to any required retention obligations.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect customer information. No system is perfect, but we treat customer workspace data and communication access as sensitive operational data.
