Mainspring Agents Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Mainspring Agents websites, onboarding forms, customer portals, and managed AI employee services. By using Mainspring, submitting onboarding information, or approving work, you agree to these terms.
Managed AI Employee Service
Mainspring sets up and operates managed AI employees for customer-approved business workflows. The service may include onboarding, workspace setup, email, voice, SMS, chat, tool connections, workflow monitoring, reporting, and ongoing improvement.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate business, contact, billing, service, and authorization information.
- Confirm that you have permission to connect any tools, inboxes, phone numbers, documents, or customer records you provide.
- Review and approve important business rules, pricing guardrails, escalation rules, and customer-facing promises.
- Use Mainspring only for lawful business purposes and not for spam, fraud, harassment, or deceptive activity.
Approvals and Boundaries
AI employees are designed to operate inside approved boundaries. Some actions may require owner approval, Mainspring review, or additional setup before they go live. Mainspring may pause or adjust workflows if needed for safety, deliverability, compliance, or service quality.
Text Messaging Terms
By submitting a phone number or approving a Mainspring-managed communication workflow, you agree that Mainspring and its managed AI employees may send service-related calls and text messages about onboarding, support, demonstrations, customer requests, workflow updates, and approved business communications.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact hello@mainspringagents.com.
Payments
Paid plans are billed according to the offer, checkout, invoice, or written agreement accepted by the customer. Unless otherwise stated in writing, Mainspring may pause paid infrastructure or managed services if payment fails or a required approval is incomplete.
Third-Party Services
Mainspring may rely on third-party services for messaging, email, voice, hosting, payments, integrations, and AI infrastructure. Customer use of those services may also be subject to the providers' terms and policies.
Launch Guarantee
The launch guarantee applies to the first workflow you approved under a paid monthly Mainspring plan, provided the account is current and you have supplied the requested access, business information, content, permissions, and approvals needed for that workflow.
The 30-day clock starts only after Mainspring confirms that it has received the required access and approvals. If Mainspring cannot launch that approved first workflow within the 30-day period, you may cancel and claim the guarantee by emailing hello@mainspringagents.com with the account email and workflow name.
Customer-caused delays are excluded, including delayed access, incomplete information, changed scope, unavailable customer contacts, or approvals that are withheld or revised. Third-party approval delays, service reviews, outages, account restrictions, and other delays outside Mainspring's reasonable control are also excluded from the 30-day period.
After Mainspring confirms an eligible claim, the first-month payment will be refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days. This launch guarantee covers delivery of the approved workflow; it does not guarantee a particular revenue, lead, or business outcome.
No Guaranteed Outcome
Mainspring aims to improve speed, consistency, follow-up, and operational visibility, but business results vary based on lead volume, offer quality, data quality, tool access, customer approvals, and market conditions.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
